In a series of thought-provoking propositions, the author of this little book outlines the evidence from both Old and New Testaments, as well as from heathen and Christian history, that indicates the original Sabbath observed first by Adam in the Garden of Eden, and afterwards by the patriarchs, to have been on the first day of the week, and that the Jewish seventh-day Sabbath was but a temporary and ceremonial institution which passed away with the beginning of the New Covenant.
